How Does It Work?

This bio-revitalization peel uses a mixture of 33% trichloroacetic acid, otherwise known as TCA, alongside hydrogen peroxide to provide the tightening and rejuvenating effects of a chemical peel, without the peeling! The solution reaches the epidermal and basal layers of the skin to renew skin cells on every level.

During your appointment, the PRX Derm Perfexion Peel is massaged into the skin until it is absorbed. Following this step, the solution is neutralized and nourished with Contour Body Aesthetics’ creams and moisturizers. In whole, the treatment only takes 30 minutes!

What to Expect

  • Although every patient’s skin and goals are unique, we generally recommend 4 to 6 sessions of treatment spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart.

  • During this treatment you may feel a slight tingling on your skin, but the peei is not painful.

  • Patients will see the full results of the PRX Derm Perfexion Peel within a few weeks following their completed treatment regimen, but the ‘glow’ associated with the peel maximizes around the third treatment!

  • This treatment targets a number of skin concerns including sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, skin discoloration, pitted scars from surgery or acne, lack of hydration, skin tightening, and skin dullness.

  • There is no downtime associated with this treatment. It does not increase sensitivity to most products or environmental conditions.
